Vehicle Technician - Swindon

The Role:

We are working in partnership with a well-established and highly reputable main dealer located in Swindon, who are actively seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their growing aftersales team.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Carry out diagnostic, servicing and repair work on a variety of used vehicles to manufacturer standards.

Deliver high-quality workmanship, ensuring safety, accuracy and efficiency.

Maintain up-to-date and accurate service records and job cards.

Collaborate with workshop colleagues to achieve performance and efficiency targets.

Keep the working environment clean, safe, and compliant with company policies.

Stay informed about latest vehicle technologies and diagnostic tools.

What We’re Looking For:

A minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance -Level 3 preferred.

Strong background in diagnostics, servicing and repair.

An MOT Testing Licence would be highly desirable.

A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

High attention to detail and a commitment to “first-time fix” standards.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

The Package:

Basic salary options: £30,000 | £32,000 | £34,000 – depending on qualifications and experience

Uncapped bonus scheme based on workshop efficiency - OTE Of Circa £40,000

Monday - Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm1 in 3 Saturdays, paid as overtime
