Vehicle Technician Supervisor - Exeter

The Role

Silcom Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of an established business based in Exeter. Our client is seeking to appoint an experienced Vehicle Technician Supervisor to join a small, dedicated workshop team. Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician Supervisor:

Complete scheduled vehicle servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines

Undertake diagnostic activities to identify causes and solutions for customer vehicle issues

Conduct electronic visual health checks (eHVC) and provide detailed reports with professional recommendations

Liaise directly with customers and service advisors, delivering an exceptional standard of customer service

Ensure all servicing and repair activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards

Oversee workshop operations, supporting and guiding technicians to maintain productivity and quality

Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with evolving vehicle technologies and manufacturer requirements

Qualified to Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or time-served equivalent)

Proven experience in a technician or supervisory role, ideally with manufacturer background

Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities with a high attention to detail

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical customers

The Package:

£45,000 basic salary - Experience dependent.

Monday to Friday working week, no weekends.
