Vehicle Technician - Southampton

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established and respected motor trade business in their search for an experienced Vehicle Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Master Technician / Diagnostic Technician seeking a stable, rewarding career within a professional and progressive workshop environment, based in Southampton.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Carry out routine servicing, inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles to the highest standard.

Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.

Work to manufacturer and industry guidelines ensuring all work is completed to a safe and professional standard.

Complete job cards, service sheets, and maintain accurate records.

Ensure the workshop environment is kept safe, clean, and compliant at all times.

A recognised Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is required (Level 4 desirable).

Previous experience as a Master Technician / Diagnostic Technician is essential.

The Package:

Basic Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 (experience dependent) + £400 monthly bonus.

Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm (No Saturdays).
