Vehicle Technician - Shaftesbury

The Role:

We are currently at work searching for a tried and tested Vehicle Technician to work for one of our long-standing clients at their dealership set-up based near Shaftesbury, Dorset. Our client is in great need of a confident and qualified person, well-prepared and enthused to work within a professional main dealer environment.

The ideal Vehicle Technician will have developed skills and a great mechanical knowledge so that they can confidently work on any light vehicle presented to them.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

To be considered for the role, you will ideally be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, City & Guilds or hold equivalent qualifications (further training can be provided)

You will ideally have at least a year’s practice or training experience in a busy, workshop environment

If you have experience with MOT testing, running diagnostics or hold higher qualifications – there are many significant benefits!

A full UK driving licence

The ability to communicate with customers effectively

A sound mechanical knowledge

Franchise dealership experience preferred – but not essential!

Package:

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (experience & qualification dependent)

+ Up to £300 Bonus per month + salary reviews & other benefits

Hours: [Full-Time] Monday – Friday (8:00am – 5:30pm)

[Including 30minutes lunch & 2x 15minute breaks]

Overtime: Saturdays (negotiable rota) 5 hours | No Sunday work!!!
