Vehicle Technician - Redditch

The Role:

Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician looking for a change?

Silcom Recruitment are on the hunt for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a strong and enviable, reputable dealer based in Redditch.

Our client has been supplying the local community with vehicles for over 30 years now, offering a wide range of new and used, commercial, Motability, and business vehicles.

Full technical and brand training will be provided. Willing to consider a Trainee Technician, level 2 or 3!

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Adhere to company technical standards for vehicle services and repairs.

Utilise knowledge of vehicles and relevant technologies to diagnose and address non-routine defects.

Complete tasks within designated timeframes and meet personal productivity goals.

Support and mentor apprentice technicians to facilitate their learning.

Participate in specialised training sessions as required.

Collaborate with team members to deliver outstanding customer service.

Possession of an MOT license is advantageous, though not mandatory.

Package:

Basic Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 per annum [DOE] | OTE £44,000 (potentially £1000 Bonus per month) !!

A higher basic salary will be considered for strongly qualified candidates!!

Advanced training is always made available including electric vehicle training, diagnostic equipment training & MOT qualification refreshers and training.

Hours: Monday – Friday [8:30am – 5:00pm] + 30-minutes lunch!

Saturdays (1-in-3) [8:30am – 12:30pm] – Paid at 1.5 x rate!!
