Vehicle Technician - Portsmouth

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment are currently seeking a dependable Vehicle Technician to work for one of our specialist clients based in Portsmouth who are looking to expand their team and grow their successful and reliable business.

The ideal Vehicle Technician will have developed skills and a great mechanical knowledge so that they can confidently work on any light vehicle presented to them.

**No qualifications are required, but prior automotive mechanical experience is essential**

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Conducting diagnostics and repairs collaboratively with colleagues and customers to establish project completion timelines.

Attending regular training to update technical skills.

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, free from any potentially hazardous practices that could pose risks to oneself or others.

A sound mechanical knowledge; some prior Vehicle Technician / garage employment or some other transferable mechanical experience.

MOT License is preferred, but not essential.

Full UK Driving license.

Package:

Basic Salary is highly flexible and can be paid up to £36,000 per annum !!!

Overtime paid at 1.5 x rate

Hours: [Full-Time] Monday – Friday [8:00am – 5:00pm] & NO WEEKENDS !!!
