Vehicle Technician - Poole

The Role:

We are currently at work searching for tried and tested Vehicle Technicians to work with one of our biggest clients at their esteemed main-dealership in Poole. Our client is in great need of confident and passionate people who are well-prepared and trained to enter a dealership environment!

The ideal Vehicle Technician will have developed skills and a great mechanical knowledge so that they can confidently work on any vehicle presented to them.

Experienced Vehicle Technicians are highly desired for their experience, but our client is also open to considering eager individuals with level 2 or level 3 qualifications in Light Vehicle Maintenance, or equivalent.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

To be considered for the role, you will ideally be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, City & Guilds or hold equivalent qualifications

You will ideally have at least a year’s practice or training experience in a busy, workshop environment

If you have experience with MOT testing, running diagnostics or hold higher qualifications – there are many significant benefits!

A full UK driving licence

The ability to communicate with customers effectively

A sound mechanical knowledge

Franchise dealership experience preferred – but not essential!

Package:

Basic Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (experience dependent) + excellent bonus

OTE: £50,000 per annum + Salary Reviews!

Monday – Friday: 8:15am – 5:00pm + an early Friday finish (1-in-3) 8:15am – 3:45pm

Saturdays: (1-in-3) 8:00am – 12:00pm
