The Role:
Silcom Recruitment are working side-by-side with a renowned automotive main-dealership group to aid in finding experienced Vehicle Technicians, local to Christchurch, who are currently seeking a change of pace, better work life balance and flexible part-time hours.
[Highly negotiable hours – 3 day working week available or Monday-Friday + no weekends]
Our client is in great need of confident, passionate Vehicle Technicians who are well-prepared and trained to enter a dealership environment! However, they are also open to meeting with less qualified or experienced individuals who are seeking to build a strong career for themselves within a main-dealer.
Responsibilities & Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
To be considered for the role, you will ideally be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, City & Guilds or hold equivalent qualifications
You will ideally have at least a year’s practice or training experience in a busy workshop environment
If you have experience with MOT testing, running diagnostics or hold higher qualifications – there are many significant benefits!
A full UK driving licence
The ability to communicate with customers effectively
A sound mechanical knowledge
Franchise dealership experience preferred – but not essential!
Package:
Basic Salary: Up to £31,000 per annum (experience / contract dependent) + Bonus
