Vehicle Technician - Durham

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join a well-established and growing business based in Durham. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a skilled and supportive team with excellent earning potential and career progression.

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a variety of vehicles, ensuring the highest levels of quality and customer satisfaction are achieved at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out vehicle servicing, repairs, and maintenance in line with manufacturer standards.

Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.

Conduct vehicle health checks and identify additional work where required.

Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within manufacturer guidelines.

Maintain accurate records by updating job cards and service documentation.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve workshop targets and ensure excellent customer service.

The Package:

Basic Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience) OTE: £40,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm + 1 in 2 Saturday mornings on a rota.
