Vehicle Technician - Dudley

The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client located in Dudley, working as a Vehicle Technician in a local independent workshop. This role will involve the maintenance and repair of passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and occasionally plant machinery, mowers, and other equipment.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a fantastic work-life balance, offering a 4.5-day work week with no weekends!

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Carry out safety inspections on large and light vehicles.

Perform safety inspections on all types of plant and equipment.

Service, diagnose, and repair defects on all types of vehicles and owned equipment.

Prepare vehicles for MOT to meet UK road safety legislation.

Undertake specialist diagnostics with the use of scanners for maintenance and repair works, including:

Electrical faults

Hydraulics

Automatic gearboxes

Plant Equipment

Package:

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 Basic 

Hours:  Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm &  Friday: 7:30am - 12:30pm
