Vehicle Technician - Basingstoke

The Role:

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Vehicle Technicians to join our established client, a franchised main dealer based in Basingstoke. This role offers a competitive salary, great working hours, manufacturer training, and the opportunity to work with the latest diagnostic equipment and technologies.

Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:

Carry out routine servicing and complex repairs on a wide range of passenger vehicles

Perform MOTs, brake inspections, and safety checks to manufacturer and DVSA standards. 

Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in line with manufacturer guidance

Maintain accurate service records and documentation in line with dealership processes

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic

Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

MOT License preferred but not essential. 

The Package:

Basic Salary: £32,000 to £36,000 per year

Bonus scheme: OTE of £40,000 per year

Working hours: Monday to Friday (7:30am to 4:30pm) Saturdays, 1 in 4 (8:00am to 2:00pm)
