Used Vehicle Buyer - Southampton

The Role – Used Vehicle Buyer:

Silcom Recruitment are seeking a confident and experienced Used Vehicle Buyer to join our prestigious client at one of their head sites in Southampton, Hampshire. Due to a recent expansion, they are in need of a competent and reliable new Used Vehicle Buyer to assist in the success of the business, and to aid in stocking a very busy dealership setup.

The Used Vehicle Buyer required should be multi-skilled and versatile, familiar with working in a busy and challenging environment.  

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Used Vehicle Buyer:

Knowledge and experience of the retail motor industry, with the ability to accurately appraise vehicles.

A customer centric approach, always striving to deliver service above customer expectations.

Exceptional customer facing and interpersonal skills.

An excellent negotiator, confident with the ability to effectively communicate persuasively with others, passing on information accurately and promptly.

Sound knowledge of the FCA and Code of Conduct guidelines

Strong written and verbal English skills

Knowledge and experience of using systems designed to assist with car appraisals

Package:

Salary: £25,000 Basic + uncapped commission & company car

Hours: [Monday-Friday] 8:30am-6:00pm – NO WEEKEDS!!!
