





The Role:
We’re currently recruiting for a SMART Repair Technician to join our client—an established and forward-thinking motor trade business based in Southampton. With a strong reputation for quality and efficiency, this business offers a stable, progressive environment with achievable bonus incentives and development opportunities.
This is a brilliant opportunity to work in a growing business, using modern SMART repair techniques and tools to bring vehicles to showroom standard.
Key Responsibilities of a SMART Repair Technician:
Carry out SMART repairs to a professional standard including scuffs, scratches, and blemishes.
Prepare vehicles for sale by using specialist repair and finishing tools.
Use electric mops and polishing tools to correct minor imperfections.
Refer vehicles to the bodyshop where necessary for additional work.Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised work area.
Attend training as required to maintain and improve skillset.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in SMART repair or similar automotive reconditioning roles.
Ability to consistently produce a high-quality finish.
Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the business.
The Package:
Salary: £37,500 Basic Salary, OTE £40,000 (including up to £125/week bonus + uncapped overtime)
Hours: 6:00am to 6:00pm on a 4 on 4 off rota, this will be across Monday to Sunday.
