The Role:
Silcom Recruitment are pleased to be supporting an established and well-respected client of ours, located near Hedge End. Our client currently seeks a part time showroom host, ideally to cover every Monday and Tuesday and every other Saturday and Sunday, if wanted.
The Showroom Host is the first point of contact for our clients’ customers visiting or calling the dealership. This individual is responsible for creating a positive first impression by delivering a warm, professional, and friendly service.
Responsibilities and Requirements of a Showroom Host:
Greet customers upon entry with a warm and welcoming demeanour.
Offer refreshments or seating while they wait, ensuring they feel comfortable.
Understand their needs and direct them to the appropriate department, whether it’s sales, service, or finance.
Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously, ensuring each caller receives polite and helpful assistance.
Effectively manage customer inquiries, taking detailed messages when necessary and ensuring they reach the right team member.
Follow up with customers to confirm appointments or provide updates, demonstrating a commitment to excellent service.
The ideal showroom host will be friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic, with the ability to engage customers in a personable and professional manner. They should possess excellent customer service skills, be attentive to both phone and face-to-face interactions, and strive to make every customer’s experience at the dealership pleasant and efficient.
The Package:
Hourly rate – National Minimum Wage
Monday & Tuesday – 8:00am – 5:00pm
**Please note that the Saturday & Sunday work is every other and an add on if wanted**
Saturday – 9:00am -5:00pm
Sunday – 10:00am – 4:00pm
