The Role:
Silcom Recruitment currently have an exciting opportunity to join a great client of ours, a family run independent garage as a Service Manager located in the outskirts of Liss.
As the Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the service department. Your expertise and leadership will ensure the efficient and smooth running of the aftersales department. You will have the chance to work in a state of the art facility and maintain the commitment to exceptional customer service.
Our ideal candidate will need to have previous or current service management experience within the motor trade. Alternatively, an experienced Service Advisor/Senior Service Advisor looking for a step up in their career!
Responsibilities & Requirements of a Service Manager:
Manage the service department, ensuring optimal workflow and productivity
Coordinate and supervise service technicians and support staff
Implement effective processes to enhance service efficiency and quality
Handle customer inquiries, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, building trust and loyalty
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
Ability to motivate and inspire a team of service professionals
Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
The Package:
Up to £40,000 Basic Salary [Experience Dependent]
Monday to Friday [8:30 – 17:30] + 1 Hour Lunch, No weekends!
