Service Advisor - Southampton

The Role:

As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role as the sole advisor in this business. Your expertise in the motor industry and excellent interpersonal skills will contribute to the seamless operation of our business. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, providing them with exceptional service, expert advice, and guiding them through their vehicle service experience.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Service Advisor:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Listen to customers' vehicle concerns and accurately document them.

Provide expert recommendations on necessary services and repairs.

Generate detailed service estimates and explain them clearly to customers.

Coordinate vehicle drop-offs, pick-ups, and appointment scheduling.

Collaborate with the garage's workshop team to ensure efficient workflow.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.

Collaborate with suppliers to order necessary parts and maintain inventory.

Strive to achieve and exceed individual and team performance targets.

Requirements:

Previous experience in the motor industry as a Service Advisor is essential.

Strong understanding of automotive services, repairs, and maintenance.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently as the sole advisor in this garage.

Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.

Proficient in using computer systems and software for record keeping.

Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Attention to detail and a problem solving mindset.

Package:

Competitive basic salary of £35,000 per annum.
