




The Role:
Silcom Recruitment are seeking a professional and experienced Service Advisor to join a family run business based in Reading. An ideal background would include experience as a Customer Service Advisor, preferably in the automotive sector. However, we also encourage applications from Service Advisors in other automotive fields.
Responsibilities & Requirements of a Service Advisor:
Provide professional and friendly customer service in person and over the phone.
Manage workshop Work in Progress and schedule MOT and service appointments.
Keep customers updated on vehicle progress.
Clarify repair basis (Retail / Warranty / Contract) for customers and workshop.
Promote additional workshop services and identify necessary parts for repairs.
Obtain authorisation, order parts, and handle account details.
Build rapport with staff and customers while maintaining accurate records.
The Package:
Basic salary: £27,000 - £29,000 with an OTE of up to £33,000!!
Hours: Monday to Friday [40 Hours per week]!!
(1-in-3) Saturdays [8:00am – 12:00pm] paid at 1.5 in addition to salary & bonus!!!
