Automotive, Workshop, Aftersales & Customer ServiceThe Role:
Silcom Recruitment is excited to be recruiting for a professional and customer focused Service Advisor, working Monday to Friday in a highly regarded, independent service centre known for quality workmanship and exceptional customer care.
In this role, you’ll be the key point of contact between customers and the workshop team, providing expert advice and ensuring an efficient and smooth service experience. You’ll work in a fast-paced, customer first environment, supporting a loyal client base and a skilled team of technicians.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner and handle service enquiries both in person and over the phone.
Accurately book in vehicles for servicing, MOTs, diagnostics, and repairs.
Provide customers with estimates and explain necessary work clearly and honestly.
Liaise with the workshop to monitor progress and update customers throughout the repair process.
Manage invoicing, warranty claims, and service administration efficiently.
Maintain clear and detailed service records.
Uphold a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.
Experience & Skills:
Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the motor trade – essential.
Confident communicator with strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Working knowledge of vehicle servicing, repairs, and MOT processes.
Comfortable using dealer management systems or workshop software.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Full valid UK driving licence.
Package & Benefits:
Basic salary: Up to £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
Profit share bonus, can see you earn up to £350 a month in bonus. OTE £36,000
Working hours: 08:30 – 17:30, Monday to Friday (no weekends).
