





The Role:
Silcom Recruitment is currently supporting an expanding motor trade business, based near Fareham, in the search for a Service Advisor to join their dynamic and customer-focused team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in a dealership or garage environment who is looking to move into a Monday-to-Friday position, away from the pressures of a dealership environment all while continuing a rewarding career in the motor trade.
As a Service Advisor, you’ll act as the central point of contact for all maintenance-related queries and be responsible for coordinating day-to-day vehicle support and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for client service and maintenance enquiries.
Schedule and manage vehicle servicing, repairs, and inspections.
Maintain accurate service history and compliance records.
Oversee maintenance authorisation and expenditure.Input and manage data in CRM and maintenance systems.
Monitor MOTs, tax renewals, and vehicle documentation.
Raise and price maintenance contracts.Identify and flag recharge costs.
Handle and process parking, speeding, and other penalties.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a Service Advisor or similar customer-facing motor trade role.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
A proactive approach and a team-oriented mindset.
Package & Benefits:
Basic Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 (dependent on experience)
Quarterly Bonus Scheme
Annual Pay Review
Hours: Monday to Thursday [9:00am – 5:00pm], Friday [9:00am – 4:00pm]
No Weekend Work
22 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing with service)
