Silcom Recruitment are representing a top client who seek an experienced Service Administrator to help join their already well-established team, based in Wimborne. The role will be in a fast paced environment and report into the Line Manager.
Responsibilities of a Service Administrator:
Reporting to your Line Manager, providing regular updates of the current scheduled of work
Regularly liaise throughout the day with the Service advisor team on all things in direct relation to the workshop
Processing engineer’s reports from write up though to an account invoice.
Liaising with customers in requesting purchase order numbers.
Using Fleet account portals to request work authorisation and purchase order numbers.
Using Manufacturer R&M and warranty systems to complete and invoice completed work.
Input and adjustments of engineers time sheets.
Monitoring and actioning emails in accounts and administration mail boxes.
Investigating and dealing with customer invoice queries.
Confirming and processing customer’s legal vehicle documentation.
Updating spreadsheets/logs of outstanding Purchase order numbers.
Answering department incoming phone calls.
Display excellent customer service skills over the phone and face to face
Liaise with other departments to promote good communication across the company
Excellent communication skills
Methodical and organised
Demonstrates a strong knowledge of the motor vehicle industry
Flexible approach to work
Knowledge of Health and Safety
Experience of implementing process improvement
Salary starting from £23,000 - £25,000 (dependent on experience)
Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (with half an hour lunch)
