The Role:

Silcom Recruitment is acting on behalf of a leading client in search of a Service Administrator to join their well-established team located in Oxford.

This premium main dealership client is seeking a confident and eager individual who is prepared for training and holds excellent administration capacity and customer service ability.

Responsibilities of a Service Administrator:

Reporting to your Line Manager, providing regular updates of the current schedule of work.

Regularly liaise throughout the day with the Service Advisor team on all things in direct relation to the workshop.

Using fleet account portals to request work authorisation and purchase order numbers.

Using manufacturer R&M and warranty systems to complete and invoice completed work.

Input and adjustments of Technician time sheets.

Monitoring and actioning emails in accounts and administration mail boxes.

Investigating and dealing with customer invoice queries.

Updating spreadsheets/logs of outstanding purchase order numbers.

Answering department incoming phone calls.

Display excellent customer service skills over the phone and face to face.

Candidate Requirements:

Excellent communication skills.

Methodical and organised.

Customer focused.

Flexible approach to work.

Knowledge within the motor trade industry is advantageous, but not essential.


Salary starting from £25,000 - £28,000 {OTE potentially £31k}.

Bonus up to £250 a month, if targets are achieved

Monday to Friday, flexible working hours:

08:00am - 17:00pm / 07:00am – 16:00pm / 09:00am – 18:00pm.

Progression available within the company, it’s a premium brand, training is provided and hybrid working is available after 6 months’ probation!
