Senior Service Advisor/ Workshop Controller - Christchurch

The Role:

We are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing independently run & owned motor trade business with multiple sites, seeking to add an experienced Senior Service Advisor / Workshop Controller to their team based in Christchurch.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor, Senior Service Advisor or Workshop Controller to join a forward-thinking business offering a great work-life balance - with no weekend working required.

You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the service department, managing customer service responsibilities alongside coordinating workshop activity to ensure efficiency, productivity and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements & Responsibilities of a Senior Service Advisor/Workshop Controller: 

Front-of-house service duties including customer check-in, job updates, quotations, and follow-up.

Daily workshop control – managing job allocation, liaising with technicians, and ensuring timely job progression.

Identifying upselling opportunities and contributing to departmental targets.

Parts ordering and distribution to the workshop.

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience as a Senior Service Advisor, Assistant Service Manager seeking a progressive step or Workshop Controller within the motor trade (essential).

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Confident in a fast-paced environment and experienced in workshop management or coordination A proactive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Package:

Basic salary of £38,000 (depending on experience).

Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:30 - no weekends required.
