Senior Service Advisor/Workshop Control - Southampton

The Role:

We are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing independent motor trade business with multiple sites, seeking to add a Senior Service Advisor / Workshop Controller to their team based in Southampton.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor, Senior Service Advisor or Workshop Controller to join a forward-thinking business offering a great work-life balance - with no weekend working required.

You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the service department, managing customer service responsibilities alongside coordinating workshop activity to ensure efficiency, productivity and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements & Responsibilities Of A Senior Service Advisor/Workshop Controller: 

Front-of-house service duties including customer check-in, job updates, quotations, and follow-up

Daily workshop control – managing job allocation, liaising with technicians, and ensuring timely job progression

Supporting the service team in delivering a smooth and efficient aftersales process

Helping to maintain a positive team culture and consistently high service standards

Identifying upselling opportunities and contributing to departmental targets

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience as a Service Advisor or Workshop Controller within the motor trade (essential)

Strong organisational and communication skills

Confident in a fast-paced environment and experienced in workshop management or coordinationA proactive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent customer service

Package:

Basic salary of up to £36,000 (depending on experience)

Realistic bonus potential of up to £3,000 per annum

Monday to Friday only - no weekends required.
