Senior Service Advisor - Outskirts Of Basingstoke

The Role:

We are recruiting on behalf of a valued client based near Basingstoke, seeking to add an experienced Senior Service Advisor to their aftersales team, within their modern dealership.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and professional Service Advisor with strong technical knowledge and workshop coordination experience, or a current Senior Service Advisor looking for their next step.

You’ll play a key role within the service department, carrying out all typical front-of-house service advisor duties, while also assisting with workshop control responsibilities and helping manage a team of technicians alongside the Aftersales Manager.

This role offers long-term progression potential into an Assistant Service Manager position for the right candidate.

Requirements & Responsibilities Of A Senior Service Advisor: 

Acting as the first point of contact for customers, delivering excellent customer service throughout the service process

Managing bookings, updating customers, and liaising with the workshop to ensure smooth workflow

Supporting the Aftersales Manager with daily workshop control, technician coordination, and job allocation

Maintaining accurate customer and vehicle records

Contributing to the achievement of departmental targets and delivering high standards of customer satisfaction

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade (essential)

Workshop control experience or a good understanding of workshop processes

A proactive and professional approach with strong communication and organisational skills

Ambition to progress into a leadership role within a busy service environment

Package:

Basic salary of £28,000 - £32,000 (dependent on experience)

Realistic OTE of £40,000

Hours:

Monday to Friday [8:00am – 6:00pm] + 1 in 3 Saturday mornings on a rota
