The Role:

We are recruiting on the behalf of an established, new and used car franchise dealership, with a site based around the outskirts of Watford. Our client are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the following:


About the role:

You will be responsible for managing a dynamic and fast paced sales department, focusing on achieving and exceeding sales targets whilst ensuring that each customer receives outstanding customer service.

Your role is to maintain standards of performance of the sales team through effective coaching and performance management.

You will also maintain high customer satisfaction levels through the understanding and adherence to company customer satisfaction indicators.

It is important that you maximise new and used car sales opportunities through developing and implementing effective and consistent events and campaigns.


About you:

Strong experience, gained from a similar role within branded car dealerships is essential.

The ability to draw the best performance from the Sales team, in a manner that builds relationships and team spirit.

Possess an energy and genuine regard for the importance of the customer to the sustainability of the business and the brand.

Ensure procedures and attitudes are in place throughout the sales department to deliver excellent levels of service.

Experience of effectively analysing and interpreting all types of data, in order to accurately diagnose and put in place appropriate solutions to ensure business success and growth.

The ability to anticipate and act proactively as well as responsively.


The Package:

Negotiable basic starting salary (depending on experience). £55,000 - £60,000 OTE, plus company vehicle and fantastic company benefits..

Hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 – 18:00 with occasional Saturday.
