




The Role:
An established client of ours based within the Southampton area have an immediate need for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a maternity cover basis.
Initially for a period of a year, with the view to extending or going permanent.
A superb opportunity offering flexibility and the chance to work within a fast paced, established business.
Working as part of a team and reporting into the company Management Accountant, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following:
Matching and posting high volume invoices
Reconciling statements
Resolution of supplier queries
Processing BACS payments.
Parts invoicing (GRNI)
Previous experience of processing invoices in a fast-paced environment;
Requirements:
Motor trade accounting knowledge & experience preferred (not essential)
Kerridge system experience preferred
The Package:
Starting salary up to £23,000 (experience dependent)
Monday to Friday - 8:30am - 5:00pm - one-hour lunch
