Paint Technician - Petersfield

The Role:

We are delighted to be supporting one of our clients in the Petersfield area; a family run, well-equipped business with the hire of a confidently skilled Paint Technician.  

My client is looking for a professional individual who has experience in all aspects of working as a Paint Technician within a body shop or accident repair centre or equivalent.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Paint Technician:

Carry out preparation/ spray painting operations to the agreed method and of a high standard. All paint spraying to be carried out in a spray booth.

Creation and application of the correct paint is essential to ensure the highest quality of work with the use of high quality equipment and a keen eye.

Working in an efficient manner and making sure work is completed to customers satisfaction

Use PPE and safety measure in the paint room (extraction fan) to minimise accidents

Maintain the paint room and associated equipment to ensure it is of a good working order reporting any defaults to the management

ATA Qualification or equivalent (Desired)

Ability to work well within a team and achieve deadlines.

The Package:

£40,000 to £45,000 Basic Salary [Experience Dependent] + £60,000 Bonus!

Monday to Friday [8:00 – 17:30] + 1 Hour Lunch.

1 in 2 Saturdays [8:00 – 13:00] – Overtime if required.
