MOT Tester - Trowbridge

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join a busy, independently run garage in Trowbridge.

We are looking for a qualified MOT Tester with experience in light vehicles. Both part-time and full-time candidates will be considered, and you will join a friendly, professional team committed to high-quality service.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Conduct MOT inspections in line with DVSA standards and regulations.

Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and maintain compliance with safety and legal requirements.

Advise customers on necessary repairs and maintenance in a clear, professional manner.

Maintain a clean, organised workspace and ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order.

Work efficiently to meet daily testing schedules while maintaining high-quality standards.

The Package:

Part-Time: 3 days per week – full days, 8:00am to 5:15pm – pro-rata salary

Full-Time: Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 5:15pm – up to £40,000 basic salary
