MOT Tester - Southampton

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment is thrilled to be seeking a skilled MOT Tester to join a respected automotive service team in Southampton.  Known for their high standards of quality and customer satisfaction, our client is committed to providing an excellent environment for professional growth and support.

As an MOT Tester, you’ll be responsible for ensuring vehicle roadworthiness and safety, working efficiently to meet productivity standards and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. We welcome applications from fully qualified MOT Testers, including those who are qualified by experience.

Responsibilities & Requirements of an MOT Tester:

Conduct MOT tests and vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety and roadworthiness standards.

Identify and diagnose issues, performing necessary repairs to maintain vehicle performance.

Complete MOT and service documentation accurately, ensuring quality standards are upheld.

Proven experience as an MOT Tester, with relevant certifications or qualified by experience.

Strong attention to detail and dedication to high-quality work.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

The Package:

Salary: Up to £38,000 Basic Salary (experience dependent)

Working Hours: Monday To Friday (8:00am to 5:00pm) NO WEEKENDS!
