HGV Technician - Heathrow

The Role – HGV Technician:

At present, Silcom Recruitment are seeking specialized HGV Technicians to join a prestigious company based in Heathrow. Our client is a well-founded commercial business with incredible growth plans. As a part of this expansion, they are in need of competent and reliable new HGV Technicians to accomplish their mission.

Your Mission – “To repair and service commercial vehicles in accordance with manufacturer guidance and current industry standards, ensuring that you utilise the most time efficient, cost-effective and safe method of working.”

The HGV Technician required should be multi-skilled and versatile, familiar with working in a busy and challenging environment.  

Responsibilities & Requirements of an HGV Technician:

To ensure that all HGV’s that are on site to be repaired, are treated with respect and care

Complete all vehicle repair and maintenance records as required at the end of a repair/service in clear detail.

Diagnose vehicle faults as required, ensuring if relevant, latest technology is used.

Servicing vehicles – carrying out checks and maintenance according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.

Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components.

Advising the Service Receptionists about required repairs.

Producing time estimates.

Maintaining repair and service records.

Occasional service/breakdown call outs

Package:

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 [dependent on experience]

+ Excellent bonus & other benefits

Monday to Friday: 6am – 3pm/2pm – 10.30pm (including 1 hours break)
