Group Accountant - Salisbury

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment are delighted to be supporting an award winning dealer group with the hire of a Group Accountant. Our client seeks an experienced motor trade Dealership/Management Accountant to assist in producing accurate monthly management accounts, maintenance and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, management and supervision of the accounts department.

You will also be tasked with providing management and development support to a wider team of seven accounts staff,

Based in Salisbury, our client has a turnover in excess of £100 million, a stable team, friendly & modern working environment – A superb opportunity of progression awaits.

Responsibilities:

Experience in producing management accounts, processes and systems, especially balance sheet reconciliations

AAT qualified preferred

Good analytical skills with the ability to spot errors and think outside the box

Ability to analyse and make recommendations, with the desire to drive system change and process improvements

Good knowledge of excel

Motor trade experience – desirable

Good people management skills and be able to inspire and motivate

Ability to work well under pressure, handle conflicting demands and schedule work appropriately

The Package:

£35,000 - £45,000 Basic Salary (Experience Dependent) + Company Car
