Silcom Recruitment are recruiting on the behalf of an established client of ours based in Basingstoke, seeking to add an experienced General Sales Manager. In supporting this franchise with this great brand, you will be responsible for driving the sales department forward.

Duties will include:
Leading a team consisting of six Sales Executives and one Transaction Manager.
Providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive sales volume and profitability, surpassing customer expectations.
Ensuring the sales department operates professionally and profitably, while adhering to all business standards.
Managing Sales Executives' activities to achieve vehicle sales, profit targets, plans, and budgets.
Offering guidance and training to enhance team performance in prospecting, sales presentation, negotiation, closing, and product knowledge, ensuring effective and confident job execution by all sales staff.
Supervising department organization and staffing to ensure efficiency, including managing staff welfare, attendance, performance, leave, and recruitment.
Completing monthly performance evaluations promptly and reporting the department's performance to senior management.
£50,000 basic salary with an OTE of £80,000, plus company car, 25 days leave, pension and onsite parking.
