Bodyshop MET Technician - Southampton

The Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled Bodyshop MET Technician to work for one of our long-standing clients within the top bodyshop in Hampshire, based in Southampton. Our client is in great need of a confident and qualified person, well-prepared and enthused to work within a state-of-the-art facility!

The ideal Bodyshop MET Technician will have developed skills and a great mechanical knowledge so that they can confidently work on any vehicle presented to them.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Bodyshop MET Technician:

The Bodyshop MET Technician is part of the Strip and Fit Mechanical function and is responsible for the stripping out and re-fitting of all parts required to carry out repairs to damaged vehicles

You will ideally have at least a year’s practice or training experience in a busy, bodyshop/workshop environment

Able to plan, organise self and meet agreed work deadlines

A full UK driving licence

The ability to communicate with customers effectively

Thorough mechanical, electrical and general automotive knowledge

Franchise dealership/bodyshop experience preferred – but not essential!

Package:

Salary: £34,000 - £40,000+ per annum (experience & qualification dependent)

Excellent bonus potential & advanced training + extensive company benefits

Monday to Friday (8:00am – 5:30pm) FULLY FLEXIBLE + NO WEEKENDS!
