Full TimeThe Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated automotive mechanic to join our busy and professional service department, based in Durham, North Carolina. This role is ideal for an experienced technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs, accurate diagnostics, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance-related issues.
Complete work in accordance with OEM specifications and industry standards.
Accurately document findings and complete repair orders (ROs).
Utilize diagnostic equipment and scan tools to identify and resolve vehicle concerns.
Maintain high standards of workmanship, productivity, and safety.
Requirements
Previous experience as an Automotive Technician, Automotive Mechanic, or Diagnostic Technician.
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults.
Valid driver's license.
ASE Certifications and OEM training are advantageous but not essential.
The Package:
Up to $83,200 basic pay ($40.00 per hour, experience dependent), based on a 40 hour working week.
8 hour working day, dealership open from 07:30am - 19:00pm, ability to work flexible working hours as long as 8 hours is done as a minimum per day.
You will also be expected to work 1 in 4 Saturdays 08:00am - 17:00pm.
