Assistant Management Accountant - Basildon

The Role:

A great opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Management Accountant to join an established motor trade business, based around the outskirts of Basildon. 

Our client, a well-established new and used franchise car dealership, is actively seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant/Assistant Management Accountant to join their team, on a full time permanent basis. Working as part of a team, supporting the Dealership Accountant, the ideal Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible but not limited to the following duties:

Responsibilities:

Preparing and submitting monthly Management accounts

Trial balance sheet reconciliation

Accruals and Prepayments

Preparing monthly financial reports

Calculating salary and commissions

Meeting with senior members of staff to review monthly accounts and discuss any possible amendments

Liaising and supporting members of staff

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years Management Accounts Experience

Knowledge and experience in using CDK/ Kerridge systems preferred

Motor trade experience (desirable not essential)

The Package:

Monday to Friday 9.00am – 6.00pm (1-hour lunch break)

Starting salary of £20,000 - £26,000 (Experience Dependant)
