Assistant Accountant - Wokingham

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of an established new and used franchise car dealership, based around the outskirts of Wokingham, Berkshire. Our client seeks an experienced Assistant Accountant who will support the Dealership Accountant with the production of the monthly management accounts.

Duties will include:

• Assist with month end process including the production of Management Accounts
• Purchase ledger,
• Registering invoices,
• Clearing invoices,
• Reconciling accounts/statements (both supplier and nominal),
• Maintaining petty cash,
• Posting vehicle invoices and supporting the accounts and administration colleagues when required. 

Requirements:

• Experience within a motor trade business - Essential
• Experience with  Kerridge - Highly desired

The Package:

£24,000 - £27,000 - Depending on experience, plus great company benefits including rewarding loyalty with up to 33 days holiday per annum!

Monday to Friday - 37.5 - 40 hours (discussed at final stage interview)
