The Role:
We are recruiting on the behalf of a motor trade dealership group with an established site based around the outskirts of Slough.
Our client is seeking to add an experienced Assistant Accountant to their team on a permanent basis, someone who is keen to step up and progress their career within accounts.
Reporting to the Dealership Accountant, you will be responsible for the following;
Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification:
Maintaining high accounting and administration standards
Fully reconciling balance sheet accounts
Ensuring that any site based discrepancies or issues are communicated to the Divisional Financial Controller and Senior Accountant
Ensure that all invoicing and processes are managed in accordance with company financial policies
Adhering to financial controls and policies without exception, in line with company policy and audit standards
Promptly resolving discrepancies, issues and queries
Ensuring financial controls and reporting deadlines are adhered to
Preparing files for both internal and external auditors where requested
Desired Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in an accounting position
Experience working to tight deadlines
Part qualified or studying towards an accounting qualification
Strong communication skills with both internal and external customers
The Package:
£22,000 - £25,000 Depending on experience + Bonus
