The Role:
An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join an established business based around the outskirts of Southampton. Our client has an immediate requirement for a full time individual to join their team on a permanent basis.

Working as part of a team and reporting into the company Management Accountant, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following:
Responsibilities:
Reconciling bank statement
Raising payments online banking
Reconciling & processing statements
Reconciling online vehicle deposit receipts
Inter-company movements
Reconciling vehicle funding
Reconciling & handling Petty Cash
Reconciling credit card control & vehicle deposits
Raising a very small amount of sales invoices
Reconciling Sales Ledger
Keeping the debtors tidy and paid up to date
Processing purchase ledger invoices
Purchase Ledger BACs run once a month
Reconciling creditors monthly
Reconciling creditor statements
Keep the creditors report tidy and up to date
First point of call in the finance office for queries from other departments
Requirements:
Motor trade knowledge & experience preferred - Not essential
The Package:
Salary up to £20,800 (Starting salary & Experience dependent)
Monday to Friday - 40-hour week
