The Role:
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join an established motor trade business based around the outskirts of Bromsgrove.
Our client has an immediate requirement for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Working as part of a team and reporting into the company Management Accountant, the successful applicant will ideally hold current or previous motor trade accounting experience.
Study support also offered.
Responsibilities:
Processing of purchase invoices
Matching, batching and coding invoices
Liaising with suppliers and colleagues to answer enquiries and resolve any issues
Reconciliation of supplier statements and investigating negative or outstanding balance
Liaising with suppliers to determine payment dates and sending remittances
Data cleansing and ongoing maintenance of purchase ledger
Bank postings
There may be other ad-hoc duties, covering for colleagues as and when required
Requirements:
Motor trade knowledge & experience preferred (not essential)
Kerridge/CDK system experience preferred
The Package:
£23,000 Basic Salary + £1,000 Bonus
Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
AAT study support offered
