





The Role:
Silcom Recruitment is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Administrator to join a family-run, close knit and established motor trade group based in Swindon. This role involves managing accounts for both the Swindon and Exeter depots, with a focus on Purchase Ledger Administration.
Our client seeks an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who shares their energy and passion, and who can contribute to their ongoing success with proven experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities & Requirements of an Accounts Administrator:
Accurately process invoices
Enter invoices into the Purchase Ledger Dynamics system
Reconcile statements from suppliers
Communicate with departments and suppliers to resolve discrepancies
Verify and update supplier bank details
Follow procedures for creating new supplier accounts
Conduct monthly supplier payment runs
Manage petty cash
Support the Sales Ledger
Post sales remittances
Organise bank payments
Handle vehicle MOT and tax administration
Provide monthly staff annual leave and absence summaries to the Managing Director
Assist with new staff inductions
Package:
Basic Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 [Depending on experience]!!
28 days holiday including bank holidays - increase with time served.
Hours: Monday to Friday [8:30am – 5:00pm]!!
