We are recruiting on the behalf of a motor trade car dealership business based around the outskirts of Huddersfield. Our client are currently seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team. This will be an initial 12-14 month Maternity contract, with the possibility to extend to a permanent position.
Reporting in to the Dealership Accountant the successful Purchase Ledger Clerk will be responsible for the following:
Ensuring that all administration activities relating to purchase ledger are executed in line with company policies and procedures.
Matching, checking and coding invoices
Working out VAT payments
Making payments via BACS and cheques
Processing staff expenses
£17,000 - £19,000 Depending on experience.
