The Role:

We are recruiting on the behalf of a motor trade car dealership business based around the outskirts of Shrewsbury. Our client has built a superb reputation in the area during that time. Due to continued growth, our client now seeks an experienced motor trade Dealership Accountant to work very closely with the Finance Controller and take full ownership of the company’s accounting function.

 

Responsibilities:

Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounting data and composite reporting.

Management of Sales Administrators and overseeing the Administration team, Purchase and Sales Ledgers and other accounts staff.

Reconciling all ledgers & raising journals in preparation for Month, Quarterly & Year End closures.

Any ad-hoc duties as required by the Finance Controller.

This is a superb opportunity for an experienced Dealership Accountant to take full ownership of the accounting function for an exciting, growing business. 

***However, our client will also consider an experienced Assistant Accountant looking for a step up into Management Accountant level position, and would be given full training and support by the current Dealership Accountant to achieve this.***

***The successful candidate would most likely come from a motor trade background with accounts experience, and ideally used Pinnacle or a similar system.***

 

The Package:

£30,000 - £32,000 Depending on experience, plus superb company benefits.

Monday to Friday - 08:30am - 5:30pm with 45 minutes for lunch.
